This year the theme is "From research to clinical practice" with the goal to highlight research discoveries with potential for translation to the clinic. The symposium is an excellent opportunity to network with researchers and clinicians in the gynaecologic oncology field. We particularly encourage abstracts from early career researchers across the spectrum of bench to bedside, as there will be many presentation opportunites. The poster sessions will include 2-minute poster presentations to encourage researchers to communicate their work with all types of audiences.
Dr Michelle Harrison and Dr Peey-Sei Kok will be chairing the preceptorship with the aim of reviewing the clinical trials that have defined the standard of care for the management of these cancers. Topics covered will include the role of surgery, raidotherapy and chemotherapy for early and advanced disease.
The Cervical and Vulva Cancer Preceptorship is open to all clinicians and researchers. There will be no additional cost to particupate in the preceptorship for those registered for the 2020 ANZGOG Annual Scientific Meeting. Day registration rates will be available if you can only attend the Friday.
There are limited places available and we are seeking expressions of interest from members via a completed application which you can download here. Deadline for EOI is Monday, 2 December.
